Hello all,

I'm about to purchase a system and have been reading many posts on this site which have been very insightful and helpful. I was wondering if I could get some potential feedback on the system I am planning to get. It's purpose is for gaming (mostly Blizzard games and maybe some new ones that might come out) and for work (standard windows applications and internet use). It may even be used for CS5 related work at one point, but i'm not sure atm.

- Corsair Obsidian 650D Case
- Intel Core i7 4770
- Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H Motherboard
- Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler
- EVGA GeForce GTX 760 ACX 2GB
- Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY16GX3M2A1600C9B 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
- Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB SSD Retail Box
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
- Corsair HX-650 V2 80 PLUS Gold Power Supply
- ASUS PCE-N53 Dual Band Wireless N600 PCI-E Adapter
- LG CH12NS30 12X BD-R Blu-Ray DVD Combo Drive
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with SP1 OEM
- (Still thinking about monitor: BenQ or Dell)

Price: $2050 (AU)

If you guys think this is overkill (such as an i7 & GTX 760), or the PSU isn't enough let me know your thoughts. This is a price range I am willing to spend. I know its difficult to future proof so I am going for what I think is a decent system (from what I've learnt in the past month). Also, I definitely won't be needing the next gen consoles so I'm hoping this lasts a while in terms of quality.

Thanks for your time, it's much appreciated :)

yes, these items are overkill
i7
16GB of ram
PSU HX version
SSD samsung pro

you could get very decent performance for AU$1500
