Nope, wouldn't think so. Out of the box it should work seeing as its capable with all AMD AM3+ FX processors . But if you want to be sure you can go ahead and flash the BIOS. But if you want better reassurance I'd get a second opinion.

What BIOS version do you have? When looking at your board's CPU Support List, it only shows two versions "FB" and "FD". I would have assumed that the "FB" version was the earliest and that is what's required for the FX-6100.
If you're currently running BIOS version "FB". then I would go ahead and update it to version "FD".
If you're not current running BIOS version "FB" or "FD", then I would definitely update the BIOS.
