Hi.
So 2 days ago I upgraded my old PC from Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX400 to Sapphire Radeon HD4650.I installed new OS (Actually reinstalled Windows XP) and performance I am getting is awful.CS 1.6 is running just like on old GPU,Cross Racing Championsip runs just a bit better than on old GPU,Slenderman (v0.9.1) is running very bad ,I guess 2-5 FPS.I updated drivers to 11.12,tried to configure stuff in CCC.My full PC specs are following:
Motherboard: Matsonic MS9317E+
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.00GHz
Memory: 1536MB RAM
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series
Monitor: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (75Hz)
I guess CPU is the main problem, but is there anything to give me better performance?
Help me please...

I believe your cpu is showing signs of a bottleneck, thats why you aren't getting the best performance out of the HD4650.
You will have to look at getting a second hand Pentium 4 with a 533 FSB from ebay, not sure think they went up 3.0 GHZ in speed.
Upgrading to this cpu will make a big difference from the Celeron cpu you have right now, so have a look at whats available from ebay to upgrade your cpu and it should eleviate the bottleneck.

So I guess I was right, but I would like to hear more opinions.Right now I am installing CoD4,and if it runs bad I am going to get new CPU ASAP.
