Will my Sims 3 work if use a ddr3 graphics card on a ddr2 ram memory motherboard?
I have a geforce gt 610 graphics card which is not supported by The Sims 3 (the performance is not satisfying). I've read that radeon hd 6670 is supported by the base game and all expansion packs. But it's a ddr3 card and i have a ddr2 ram memory on my motherboard. So, my question is: Will my game work if I use that radeon graphics card because it's ddr3 and my ram memory is ddr2? Thanks in advance.

yes it will be fine, they are two different areas.
GPU RAM and system RAM (on the motherboard) have nothing to do with each other. It will be fine.
Ok, thanks. You know, I've also read that I should buy a PCI-Express 2.0 card if my motherboard has PCI-Express slot 1.0 or 1.1, which is my case. However, this radeon card is a PCI-Express 2.1 card. Is that irrelevant, too?
