Spilled water on CPU

So i was washing my hand and i forgot to dry it off. I got the top of the cpu all wet. will anything happen to it? It was also not not in the motherboard yet

Eh just get a can of compressed air and blast it dry, it will be fine so long as it is completely dry before you install it and power it on. As coozie said, don't touch the pins/contacts on the bottom.
