How hot should a gt 610 run

Solution
:/ what game are you playing a gt 610 is nowhere near a gaming card.. This card is run without a fan in allot of cases you might try putting one on it if it is fanless.

Thent
it is passive or active disipated ?

low entry GPU series tend to have passive heat disipation solutions(no fan), and concecuently get higher temperatures

the solution, in this case is adding a fan to create some air flow helping to disipate the heat
the main reason is playing with a card that is not made for that.

it has a small fan but my computer only has one intake
and one exhaust

adding more fans will help, but as I said GT610 its not made to that, plying games just put too much stress to the GPU cause it has just a few ROPS, texture clocks, etc.. , so it literaly figths with no weapons at all and then gets overheated

Well my solve was easy.

1. Do not trust GPU-Z or ThunderMaster Fan settings.
2. Check that fan is spinning. (I had to pull my main GTX card to even see the GT 610)

The little fan plug was 1/2 plugged in (mean not plugged in) So basically I had no fan at all. But The utilities all reported fan speeds etc.
So the software got fooled which in turn fooled me (As I trusted and did not want to pull both cards)

Anyway with the fan running.
- GPU Temp 55c fan at 71% (just desktop)
- Watch video - 68c
- gaming - don't game on it

Without the Fan
- Desktop was 80-88c,
- Watching a video on that screen sent it to 100c (maybe higher) and the system would go totally black on that monitor (Crashed GT 610)

It will run with no fan as long as you do not watch a video or game.
