Any last minute improvements or recommendations?

Hey guys,

Anyone got any last minute improvements I could make to this build or any advice?

i7 4770k
Asus Z87 Sabertooth
Asus GTX 770
Crucial Ballistix 16gb RAM
Fractal Design R4
HX750 PSU
H100i
Kingston 120gb SSD V300
1tb HDD

Mainly for editing and gaming. Got around £200 ($323) left for upgrades so please keep that in mind. No need for monitor. Thanks for your help!

Depends which programs you are using . but cuda is a dead end technology as industry moves to OpenCL . Latest versions of Adobes CS software make use of AMD cards and OpenCL .

For the extra you have to spend then double the SSD to 240 gig , and add another hard drive for backing up data files on the first drive

I would consider getting a R9 280X instead and overclocking it (or get a factory overclocked edition). You will get the same performance as a GTX 770 and much better compute capability.

If you are willing to spend the extra money, upgrading the GPU to an R9 290 or R9 290X when they come out might be a decent option.

The 770 is better unless you want him to get the Asus 280x MATRIX edition.
