Is my PSU too weak?

I just bought Battlefield 3 2 days ago, and have had problems ever since. First, it was my CPU overheating to 90-95C during gameplay (it was an easy fix, I didn't seat the CPU well enough... doh)! And I thought that this heat was shutting down my PC, even though the TJ Max. is 105C but I thought oh well, it's gotta be the CPU. Now that that is fixed (done yesterday in the afternoon) I played all day yesterday and today up until 20 minutes ago. My PC just shut off, and restart. The PSU isn't broken, but it's a corsair 600W, and with the appliances I entered in this online calculator I just get enough power (around 580 with keyboard mouse etc plugged in). Is it possible the PSU is too weak to handle BF3 and is just shutting itself off?

If the calculator said 580W and your PSU is 600W, then yes it's too weak.

I'd upgrade to 650W, considering it's never a good idea to push the PSU to its limits constantly.

But the specs are necessary, just like kirilmatthew said.

My specs are...

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866
Corsair 600W PSU
AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series 1GB VRAM
That's the main shit:p

That is not right. That should not use anywhere close to that much power. 600W should be plenty. There is probably a problem with your PSU causing it to not provide enough power.

It happens for sure. Its not an uncommon problem.

Much as it appears to be a PSU problem (PSU may be getting to hot; when's the last time you cleaned out the case and blew out the PSU), it could also be a RAM problem. Try going into your BIOS and dial the RAM back to 1600 and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
Oh, and what model is your Corsair PSU?

You bet :p It is a CX.... is it known for problems? I also did try dialing back my RAM to no avail.

It used to be known for having issues, and its reputation isn't exactly stellar, although it has improved. It's the low-end class of PSUs from Corsair, so they're obviously cutting corners somewhere, reducing their overall quality.
