Does a 500W Intex Spider power supply is enough for an AMD FX 6350 and a gtx 560TI/650TI/660/670?

More about 500w intex spider power supply amd 6350 gtx 560ti 650ti 660 670
  1. I'm not sure I would trust an 'Intex Spider' to power a flashlight. Get something decent. Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ, Antec or the high efficiency Rosewill units.
  2. ^^ That.
  3. ok, so is this good, Sirtec ECO II HPC-550-H12S, 550W, ATX 2.3?
can it handle my rig? i'm thinking on buying the gtx660

That one I'd trust to recharge some AA batteries. But only one at a time.

    As anort3 said before...get a good one.
  5. It's better than the first one but still not what I would call a quality unit.
  6. :)) damn, they are quite expensive
    is this good Corsair CP-9020050 550W, ATX2.3
  7. It's a decent unit. The best you have listed so far. It's plenty of power for your computer.
  8. So, witch one is better Cooler Master B600 600W(not modular) or Thermaltake Smart SE 530W (modular)?
It has to power an gtx660.
They both have 2 x PCI Express 6+2 pin, witch is required to power the gpu, right?

    As a case i'm going with a middletower Zalman Z9 U3.

Neither. Thermaltake and Coolermaster are brands to avoid when it comes to power supplies. There are a few good higher end models but those are not among them.

The Corsair is good and the Sirtec is OK.
  10. f---, i never thought choosing a psu will be so hard.
    OCZ ZS Series 550W
    OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W
    Corsair Builder CX500 V2 500W
    Corsair CX500M
if this aren't good either i quit

Mod edit: Keep the language family friendly ;)
  11. Lol. Any of those are good. I would pick :
    1) OCZ ZS
    2) Corsair CX500M tied with --->
    2)OCZ ModXStream Pro
    3) Corsair CX500 V2
  12. Thanks, now we are getting somewere
Out of all psu's that i mentioned and this two
Corsair Builder CX600 600W, Corsair VS Series VS650 650W witch one should i buy, kepping in mind that maybe sometime in the future i will overclock my cpu/gpu

Sidenote: thanks for your quick responses and willingness to help
  13. I would go with the VS. The regular CX series ( not the CXM ) uses cheap Chinese made capacitors. It's still a good unit but they can die when stressed.

    Glad to help! :)
