Hi!
Can i replace my CHINON Model FX-354 floppy drive with new type floppy drive? In fact my musical keyboard Roland W30 has stopped working just because its floppy drive CHINON FX-354 doesn't work, when i insert diskette inside, it spins only for few seconds and then stops spinning even the LED light keep on burning.
So can i use new type floppy drive by just modifying data cable connections or some other component inside of the new type floppy drive?

Any standard 1.44 MB 3.5" internal floppy drive should have the same connectors so that no modification is needed. There are lots of them, new and used, on the Internet.
