PC Gaming Headset Help

Okay, so I've been looking for a PC gaming headset because my other one broke. I've been looking at the Logitech G230's mainly. I have a MSI Z87-G45 mobo, so I'm not sure if a sound card would be necessary for purchase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :))))))

(Doe you mean G35?)

All of the headsets (G35, G930 and the Razer) have built in sound cards. The Logitech headsets both use USB as a mean of connecting to the computer. I'm not sure off the top of my head what the Razer headset uses but a quick google search should solve that.

I do have a budget and this is probably the best one for the price range, but would a sound card be necessary, or would my G45 have a built in sound card?
