Is this a good build for next gen games? For example: Batman Arkham Origins, COD Ghosts, Assassins Creed 4, Battlefield 4 etc.

ASRock 970 EXTREME3 Motherboard
XFX Double D Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition Black Edition 2GB
AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
Coolmax 700W PSU
Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

I currently own this right now. Also out of curiosity would I need to upgrade this anytime soon?

What ever you do don't go for a Zambezi series of CPU's they are terrible.

You should probably update that. But everything else looks great if you already own it. I have almost the same thing better processor (6350) And the 7870 LE (a cut down 7900) series card. It runs things ok but I'm upgrading to a 280x.
