can i install a 64 bit program on a 32 bit os and later move the 64 bit program

i want to download some 64 bit programs on a 32 bit os and later move the programs on to my soon to be built computer will this work without making the programs different or corrupting them when they get moved? and i know that i wont be able to use them until i get them on a 64 bit os

Nope. 64 bit OS is backward-compatible with 32 bit software but 32 bit OS cannot run 64 bit software.

Oops, misread you. Yeah, just downloading the program without installing, it makes no difference. What's stored on the HDD is just bits on the HDD. If can be corrupted if there is an error in the download or some memory error or whatnot but as far as the old OS it's just a file.
