I am considering the purchase of an ASRock Z77 Extreme6 MOBO. Since
this model allows for the setup of a floppy drive, I was considering a
reinstall of my old Windows 2000 Pro w/SP4; however, I cannot locate any information re: supported operating systems in any list of specs. Would someone please direct me to where this information can be located.

More about : compatible

If you look on the motherboard specifications page(http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme6/?cat=Spec...) this it what it shows for OS compatibility
Microsoft® Windows® 8 / 8 64-bit / 7 / 7 64-bit / Vista™ / Vista™ 64-bit / XP / XP 64-bit compliant
2000 isn't listed but you might be able to use the XP drivers, the only way to find out is to try.

Wow. Well, even if you could get 2000 installed on that you'd have a hell of a time finding Win2000 device drivers for all the components. According to MS, Win2000 supports up to 2 CPUs (a dual core CPU should qualify).
