I had an old build where I had 12GB (3x4gb) of DDR3 1333 G.Skill memory.

I want to re-use this memory in a new build - a Gigabyte LGA 1150 mobo that is dual channel.

I looked at the memory support list and they have G.Skill 1333 listed, but it's a different "Module P/N." Does this matter? Will this work with the new board? Is there anything (negative) I should be considering?
Second - would you recommend that I purchase either 1 more stick of 4gb or take a stick out and only use 8gb total? Any suggestions/answers/tips are greatly appreciated.
