I wanted to get a second 7770 Ghz edition to put into my computer so I can run stuff in higher graphics, Would it be worth it for $100 to get that or should I look into something else?
Specs:
AMD fx 6100
8gb corsair vengence
amd 7770 Ghz Edition
850 watt corsair psu
asus m5 a97 r2.0 motherboard

Yeah,if you have enough bucks to get a 7770,crossfire is a good idea. Your PSU is good enough to handle 2 7770s in crossfire, and the RAM is adequate, and so is your Motherboard. But your Processor,it's a good CPU but I've read some posts which say, this CPU- the 6100 will bottleneck the setup (7770 CF ). So,I'd recommend you get a new Processor first, like the 8350,or atleast a 6300 (Vishera),since you already have a decent motherboard which is AM3+,and you could get to crossfire later.Anyway,it's my opinion.f you think it wouldn't be a problem and the CPU won't bottleneck it,okay, the decision is anyway yours,as is the money... :)
Eventhough, the crossfire setup is great, giving a great performance boost...

Thanks man, I'g not going to risk bottlenecking(Not 100% sure on what that is, just know its not a good thing) and I am going to look into getting the 8350 this paycheck and a few paychecks later im going to get the card. Thanks for the response
