How Do I connect my samsung to my computer for music?

You need to install compatible phone software on your PC. For Samsung phones it's called "Kies". Get it from here:

Alternatively, if your phone has a memory card, remove it and put it into a card reader that's plugged in to your PC.
Your PC will see the card via the card reader.
Copy music files to the card.
Put the card back in to your phone.
