Hey guys, I have a few questions about 8350 CPU cooling system.

1. Runing at Prime95 heat and power test temps reach about 79 C. After few minuts some cores fails. I think its bit hot :)
I'm planing to upgrade cooler to www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/cooling/hyper-series/hyper-212x.html this one, but I'm not sure if it will fit into my case. My case is http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3557#sp And if it fits, what about adding RAM? Would I be able to add them? I have Kingston Beast at http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4434#ov this MOBO.
2. Second option is http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/cooling/hyper-series/hyper-tx3-evo.html cooler, should fit, what you think about it? Of course the better would be 212X, but if it not fit, what should I do?

1) You need measure the height from MB to the case, because the 212x is 158mm (6.2 inch). I check the case website they don't say anything.
2) You need take off the air duct too, because it will block the cooler.
3) If you have the low profile RAM, it will be fine, otherwise you can put the fan in the other side of the heatsink, like in the link. http://foros.toxico-pc.com/showthread.php?61024-Noticia-Cooler-Master-Hyper-212X/page3

Thanks for your replay, I have called to the store, and they confirmed, that this cooler will fit.. Hope tomorrow will get it. Wil inform, how is going on.

Besides, your link is for INTEL CPU, at AMD it puts different way. The fan is at botom, on the GPU side, and pulls air up. Thats. At youtube gave found few vids with same fan, at it looked good, just one ram slot is occupied by fan, other three is free to go. But, as I use only two slots fir dual channel is enough for me. :) Juts hope the case will close with panel.

Ok, result of yesturday topic :) The CM 212X fit briliant, temps are max till 50 C runing prime95. Of course CPU isnt overclocked, but at default cooler I was running about 75-79 C on prime95.

The technical solution is bit difficult, especaly if you case dont have an open backside CPU panel. Then you got to get out all MOBO. But it worth doing that :) Nice cooler.

Today I have ordered two case fans of Cooler Master for replace. Hope results bee good :) Go Cooler master :)
