If this question isn't for this forum please move it to where it need to be because I don't have a clue where to post it.
I have just read part 2 of thermal pastes round up here on tomshardware and i bought the collaboratory liquid pro after reading pard one last week.
After reading part two I'm starting to get freaked out because what have been said about this thermal paste and don't know if its worth the risk simply because I'm not an expert with thermal pastes and I dont want to damage my cpu...
What do you think? Should I read carefully again how to use it properly and use it, or just buy normal paste like the gelid extreme? Please give me an honest answers.

I strongly recommend going for the Gelid Extreme, the Liquid Pro is going to cost you your CPU warranty!

I also tested these products back in 2011 look at my recommendations regarding the liquid metal line.

Igor's part 2 is very detailed and what he shows is exactly what will happen. Ryan

Just wasted my money again :/
I guess I will be buying the gelid extreme or antec diamond nano formula 7(if its better then the gelid one).
I have another question: I have seen posts saying that I should warm up the gelid thermal compound before using it, will it bring a better results or is it just for ease of use?
How do I warm up the paste the right way because I didn't understand how to do it...

Warming it is for ease of use it will flow better, just hold the sealed tube under warm running water a little while.

Make sure the water is dried off the tube with paper towel before application.
