Is water Cooling DANGEROUS?!

So....I am going to build a PC with:

i5 4670k Haswell.
Sapphire Toxic R9 280x (Graphics card)
8GB of G.Skill Rip Jaw X series 1866mhz
ASrock Fatal1ty Killer Z87 motherboard.
XFX 80+Gold FULL modular PSU
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD 7200RPM...

The rest is just some fans and lights

I want to cool it with a corsair H100i...what are the chances of that thing leaking or popping randomly and killing everything in the case? Well..not everything but leaking and messing things up. Am i being paranoid? Were you like this and do you WC? Are you against Watercooling?

Thanks!

Solution

It's factory sealed and tested it's not going to leak unless you punch a hole in the tubing yourself.

You are being paranoid, water cooling is perfectly safe or they wouldn't be selling the units, they'd long ago been sued out of business!

I'm obviously not against water cooling since I'm probably the most extreme water cooler here. :)

Go for It!

Thanks, Ryan!

If you dont mind i ask, why are you a retired moderator? You wanted to leave?

I joined THGF to help others, that's what I love to do!

As a moderator I took the job very seriously the same as anything I undertake, if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do the best I can, and that left almost zero time left over to help others.

Once THGF had enough moderators to handle the job I knew moderating was covered, and I was just tired of doing it, as it can be a very thankless job at times!

I wanted to get back to what I enjoyed doing here at THGF so I resigned, after approximately 3 years, and the Mod Team and our Community Manager, Joe Pishgar gave me the retired moderator title.

That's the story! Ryan :)

Awesome! What does THGF stand for?
