6950 2gb crossfire 700w

i have 2 6950 2gb and a modXstream 700w just wondered can i run my 2 cards on this psu if not is 1 6950 good enough for gaming


setup
i7 3770
12gb ram
64gb ssd crucial
128gb ocz ssd
1tb hitachi hdd
6950 2gb iceq
700w ocz modXstream

Your 700w psu should be just fine for that crossfire config, just make sure you have the right/enough connectors on your psu for two of them ;)

Worst case scenario psu will blow up but, that is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, and anyway if it blew up it wouldn't take any parts with it ;) if you are worried(you shouldn't be) then just use one of your GPU's your PC would still be good for gaming. But if I were you I would definitely utilise your two cards :)

sorry one last thing i have put both cards now and everything seems ok i have put gpu core speed from 800mhz to 840mhz in the catalyst control centre will this use much power or is this ok

It will use slightly more power but it will be just fine ;)
