Hello I’m not very good at computers but I’ll try my best to explain.
Last night my computer was fine played some games finished then watched a movie and went to bed. My problem is today when I turn the computer on instead of going to windows start-up it has done a few beeps 10 or so and then said Reboot and Select Proper boot device. Upon reboot it is still the same. When I go to bios it is like my HDD isn't even recognised normally it shows the name of the HDD instead of just Harddrive. Upon using a windows recovery start up disc I seem to have the same issue with my HDD not appearing. My Cd/Blue ray drive appears like normal in bios so figured I would try using those cords in the HDD, still same beeps and error. Also tried using Seagate’s sea tools thing and HDD doesn't show up in that either. Honestly have no idea what could be going on or how to fix so damn frustrating tho  any help would be much appreciated

Solution
Firstly, you need to check if the HDD is fine or not.... meaning you need to put it into another rig to check.
Those beeps that you hear are actually the mobo talking to you...
google for post beep codes and check out what that mobo it trying to say to you.
