What memory is best for this board MSI 880GM-E43?

I'm a bit confused about my board, here's the link for it

I'm planning to upgrade my memory,
as of now, the installed memory on my board is a Kingston 2gb 1333 and an Apotop 2gb 1333

It say's in my board description:
"Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600* (OC) DRAM, 32GB Max"

I want to upgrade to 16gb memory.
What's my best choice? I'd prefer GSkills

Another thing, is my board PCI-E 2.0? because it just says
"1 PCI Express x16 slot with x16 operation (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant)"
I'm not sure if that's another term for PCI-E 2.0

Hi. GSkill will be fine. You are running 1333 Mhz, but can run 1600 Mhz with an Overclock. As for the PCIe, it is 2.0.

is going for a 1600Mhz memory noticeably faster than a 1333Mhz?

Unless you overclock it, it will run at 1333 Mhz anyway. I went from 1600 Mhz to 2133 Mhz in here and I can't say that I have seen any "Noticible" difference.
