I would go with the Asus. It has a better response time (2ms vs 5 ms), so you will see less ghosting. Otherwise there is not much difference between the two.

I've also had much better experience with Asus monitors than Acer monitors in terms of build quality. I've also never encountered a single dead pixel on an Asus monitor to date (I've bought many), though I could just be lucky in that regard.
