2nd PSU dedicated to liquid cooling, fans?

How would I go about using a 2nd less-powerful supply for just fans and liquid cooling (pump, etc.)? I do NOT want to connect it in parallel with the primary PSU, so want it to be a separate dedicated unit powering only the cooling components. I think this should be pretty safe.

WHat is the best way to deal with the green PS_ON wire that gets pulled down by the motherboard to GND? I'd want the cooling supply to power up at the same time as the primary. I am sure someone has done this type of thing before and I'd like to hear your advice. Thank you.

Id like to know that too. Just seems like WAY more to go wrong. Why not try an ax1200/ax1200i? If they are both out of your price range go down the route of the EVGA supernover 1300 10 year warrenty and its like £145. Not sure about dollars or what currency you may use, just seems way simpler to me but i may be missing something here

I could simply answer "because I want".

If you want more detailed info.. The scenario is a case that has a space for 2nd PSU (so might as well use it), have 3 GPUs, 10 SSDs, PCI-E RAID card. I know it might not pull all the juice out of the primary PSU if it's a large one, but I would prefer a 2nd discrete, isolated PSU to reduce load variation and droop induced by fan and radiator fan speeds, pump, etc.
