Hey guys,
I want to overclock my asus gt430 but i've never overclocked anything before.
So my questions are , can i overclock my graphics card?
what software do you recomend? (i am a noob at overclocking so i would like something easy)
and what are the max temps for this graphics card?

thanks in advance,

That's alright. GPUs can take 100*, but you don't want that. Anyway, overclocking GPUs are much more straightforward and intuitive than OCing CPUs, especially when you use OC utilities such as Afterburner or EVGA's PrecisionX. What you basically need to do is to adjust the core and memory frequencies by increments, I do mine by increments of 10, and then test it for stability. If there are NO graphics artifacts, a sign of an unstable OC, rinse and repeat increasing frequencies and testing until you encounter artifacts.

Once you encounter artifacts (Google what they look like)in testing, you should roll back your frequencies by smaller increments, I do mine by increments of 5, until the artifacting stops. The highest frequency you can...

Yeah sure. You can OC it with MSI Afterburner. But I've got to warn you though, unless you have chilly temperatures where you're at, you might not see that much of a performance boost. I can say so since I once OCed my old GT440 and got about a +3 fps.

I get about 74℃ at max load

There.
