My current computer is a: http://goo.gl/nTdAI2
And was wondering if a gigabyte Radeon r9 270x would fit and be compatible. I'm getting a new psu and an amd Athlon II X4 750k 3.4ghz quad core. Would I need a new motherboard? Will the gpu fit? Thanks :)

It will be electrically compatible and work with your PCIe x16 slot, but the real question is it's size will physically fit inside your mATX case.

Edit, did not see that it was an hp pavilion.

It has a pcie x16 slot, so it will be compatible, but as real beast says below, will it fit physically.

At 300w you are really pushing the power requirements too.
