PhysX component fails to install with every driver update on GTX 660

Whenever I update my GPU drivers the PhysX component fails to install. I use Geforce Experience, but have tried normal standalone drivers from their site, but to no avail. Every other component installs successfully. Is there an issue on my end or Nvidia's? This has been going on for a few months. Any answers or suggestions?

This is how it looks when the installation is finished.

Doing this has given me more trouble. When I first installed my graphics card, about a month ago, installing the drivers caused the screen to go blank at the login screen. Now after uninstalling with driver sweeper and reinstalling drivers the same thing is occuring.

I managed to overcome this problem in the past by installing drivers on the disk through device manager. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be working for me.

The funny thing is when I was installing drifferent drivers to try and fix the Physx problem, sometimes windows would automatically install the correct drivers (but not physx). Now when windows tries to install the correct driver through windows udpate it results in the blank screen at login.

My advice for Kypav do not attempt anything and wait for the next driver update.

I haven't used the uninstaller yet, not worth the risk. I'm completely fine with outdated PhysX, would prefer having them up to date though.

I have installed new drivers ever since the problem occured, which is about 5 months ago. Hasn't worked a single time.

It turns out you have to use driver sweeper to remove all nvidia installations, then reinstall drivers. The problem that I recieved was from a conflict of onboard display and by graphics card.
