Hello Guys,
I'm new here and this is my first time building a computer.
Everything is brand new and the configuration is:
Sabertooth x79
core I7 4930k 3.4 g
Barracuda 3T - 64mb
16 RAM - G Skills sniper - 1866
VGA gigabyte GV-N760OC - 2 G
Windows 8 64-bit
Blue ray asus
I already updated the BIOS with the flashback feature to be able to start the computer and now i'm trying to install the windows but when ask where i should store the software it says that the HDD can't be found. I already checked the BIOS and is set to AHCI, however all SATA ports says not present.
HDD supports the SATA 6gb cable and the mobo supports too, this cable is connected securely, as well the power cable.
I really don't know what to do and already passed 10 days sincei bought the computer and im stuck.
Does anyone have any idea of what i should do? Probably is something really simple that i dont know what it is.
