Is this Raidmax835w PSU good and strong enough to handle 2 280x's in crossfire?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I already bought it and have had it for 3 weeks. I only have a few days left if i need to send it back. I got it on sale for only $80. It only has 750w on the 12v rail though. Return it, Bite the restocking fee, and buy a better quality 850w?? I'd love to not have to pay more than the deal I got. All its other numbers = or are greater than that of the corsair HX series though. If you think I should replace it, with what? I want a semi-full modular capable of crossfiring high end cards for under $150. Thanks!

750w seems to be the lowest suggested required out there without taking into account anything extra you might add or OC.

I personally wouldn't want to cut it that close so I would get a better one.

This one fits what you want and is only $130, has a lot of good reviews too.

edit: Sorry didn't look well enough, but this one might be better for you and you're wallet at $112 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-tx850...)

So my Raidmax is garbage . . . It's new, and up to date, but that's what I was worried about: it being like every other Raidmax. Suppose I better return it and buy a Corsair, better not overload a cheap PSU. That Corsair TX850 you sent is a really great deal right now, so much so that it's out of stock . . . Better buy an HX 850 for $150 I guess. Can't seem to find anything as cheap as corsair that won't burn your house down . . .

Not burning down your house is a plus. I know a lot of people love and recommend OCZ. Hope your new PSU meets all your needs.

Here is a good one for $128.99. It is made by Seasonic, right up there with Corsair for quality.

It's not modular though, unfortunately. This site recommends 900w for the 280x crossfire setup.
