Hey Guys, it's been a while! (Updated)

So I built my gaming pc back in February, added a SSD, bought a new gaming mouse, and splurged on a "gaming" mouse pad...(Which i swore I would never do! lol). After nearly 8 months of service, I felt it necessary to perform a diagnostic. I will post benchmarks for 3DMark, Prime95, Memtest86+, CrystalDisk, and any other requests you guys may have (I'm open to any criticism or suggestions!)

Basicly, what motivated me to investigate further is the temps and overall sluggishness I've been experiencing for the past month or two. My SSD has never performed optimally...and yes I probably should have RMA'd it...but I'm not quite convinced that its the drive itself. Possibly my OS (Windows 8 x64...what a disappointment tbh), settings within, or something I'm not seeing.

Anywho....Here are my specs and such.

ok. you have a good ventilation case... but warm internal temps... which means you have no ac or air circulation in your room? is the case in some cabinet? those internal temps are high (not just the cpu) which makes me think you should work on your case airflow perhaps.

Setting that asside, you got a good overclocking motherboard, a good overclocking case, psu and chip, and are running it at stock? You'll want to overclock that cpu... if you don't know how we can walk you through the basics. You'll see a mighty nice jump in performance if you can get a solid overclock out of that chip.

Before you overclock i see you're using the stock AMD heat-sink. poor choice. invest $30 in a hyper evo 212 prior to overclocking.

So in summery you need to
1) put case in high airflow area (if it's in a cabinet or under a desk move it)
2) possibly add fans to case if temps don't come down (assuming it's not 90F in your room)
3) replace stock cpu cooler with better cpu cooler
4) overclock cpu

I plan on buying more fans and a 212 EVO next week.

Ill post my benchmarks in a bit. Sorry I haven't responded in a few days. Work became more demanding than usual.

(Update) Here are my Post-3DMark temps (Found in the max column)
