okay here's my question: i am building a pc with these specs: 1tb hard drive 2gb gigabyte radeon 7859 600w ocz 600sxs psu amd fx 6300k motherboard-??? so here's the deal, budget is a key thing for myself, so i need to know whether i should get the asus p8z77 and fx6300 for about £160 or get the asus m5a78l bundled with the fx 6300 for £40 less. this system is designed to be able to play battlefield 4 so i don't want any bottle necking. anyway which one would you recommend and why? p.s. the more i save on the motherboard the better the gpu i shall get.

M5A97 supports the FX-6300 very well, whereas the m5a78l is quite a low performer and will not overclock at all.

Sorry, let me clarify, it is the fx6350 processor I will be getting. Is that supported?

Yes both the motherboards [m5a78L and m5a97] support both the chips [i.e fx 6350 and the fx6300]. But i'd recommend you to get the m5a97 :)
