Im deciding if I should get a Evga acx classified/ Evga reference cooler or R9 280x crossfire. I know most of you guys would go for the single 780 but here are some of my facts of why I would like crossfire instead.
780:
What I like: fastest single gpu (besides Titan) on the market right now. Has 3gb gddr5, doesn't take up a lot of power (250w max tdp). Sexy and beast cooler, (referencen that is).

What I don't like: the only coolers I like on 780 is reference cooler, MSI cooler, and gigabytes cooler. The acx cooling seems to look like a bunch of fin arrays when in a windowed case, but however is the best cooler for 700 series.

R9 280x crossfire:
What I like: I get better performance than the 780 for the same price (looking at the asus Matrix R9 280x which looks BEAST, and the xfx version, which looks SEXY). I get to choose 2 different types of graphics card cooler manufactures or PCB manufactures. New AMD drivers now tesalte crossfire even better or make microstuttering minimum.

What I don't like: the R9 280x alone has the same tdp as the gtx 780. Very little games/ synthetic benchmarks don't support crossfire (The r9 280x alone performs between a 760 and 770). The configurations takes an output of 680 watts, or a 80 plus 850 psu, which is like a 780 in sli.

Important rig factors:
Fx 8350 with asus crosshairs v formula z. Will be overclocking to 4.4+ ghz. Using h100i, corsair carbide air 540 replacing fans with corsair fans high performance edition.

PSU: if 780 a corsair RM 650/550 GOLD certified or 92% efficiency.
If r9 280x corsair RM 750 Gold certified or 92% efficiency. Even if this says

I do understand all what you said but i would 900% i would buy GTX 780 without questioning my self.
I know i can depend on EVGA in everything ' product , support , warranty '

3GB isn't really a point in favor of the 780, since the R9 280X also has 3GB.

But anyway, I'd recommend you wait for the R9 290 and 290X to launch. They should be just days away now, and chances are value in that performance segment is going to improve (whether by getting the 290 or 290X, or by getting a GTX 780 after a price cut).

I was going to wait for r9 290x, but a r9 280x could be cheaper, and has a asus matrix triple slot version, perfect for my case which is a corsair carbide 540, but I might get one after the prices and benchmarks are shown

I would wait a couple weeks for the 780Ti release before getting a 290x, some price adjusting will follow shortly I think to bring them in line.

This appearance only confirms that AMD Radeon 290X will launch this week. Also most of preoderered cards should dispatch this week.

The R9 290X will compete with GeForce GTX 780, but after numerous leaks you should already know that this is not really fair fight. For that reason NVIDIA decided to replace GTX 780 with GTX 780 Ti, supposedly at the same price. This way R9 290X will actually compete with 780 Ti, whereas R9 290 will fight against GTX 780. In few weeks there will be a lot of movement in high-end segment. Hopefully some cards will get cheaper in the process.

just fyi, amd's new beta frame pacing driver only fixes micro-stutter in select dx11 titles, and resolutions lower than 1440p single display, and the beta driver creates problems in some games rather than fixing things. There are still plenty of dx9 titles and some dx11 ones that it doesnt work well with and/or doesnt work at all with. single 780 or 290 would perform more reliably and much less hassle, and is more than enough for 1080p.

The 290x cometes with the titan and most likely beat it as drivers mature the 290 will be the answer to the 780ti lol theres never been a
GTX x80ti only 50ti and 60ti.

Not sure why you say a x80Ti has never been released has much to do with anything here? The point I was trying to get across was pricing will be adjusted with the Nvidia and AMD releases to the stores, not which is a better card, I could care less. You will pay for the performance you get whether it is green or red.

I read somewhere, forgot where the 290x will be at NE for around $729, the 780Ti will come in at $649 and the 780 will drop in price.

I hear a Titan Ultra (non-crippled) GK110 may be in the works to take the top card spot, no guess on any pricing there.

I would probably wait for the 290x specs and following price reductions to see what happens before picking up a card if you can help it. Even if so, I prefer a single card still. 780 assuming price drops accordingly.

Just a personal observation is the 760/770 and 270x/280x at this time are the best bang for the buck considering power/heat/performance/cost. The Titan and 780 were always both overpriced, the 290/290x from AMD will force the green team to quit gouging us gaming guys and girls who would like a single GPU solution without the inherent quirks of SLI/XFire, but the multi card/screen set up is continuing to get better because of the Hawaiian core from AMD today as it will nudge Nvidia pricing down in the high end segment if they want to stay competitive.

Just talking out loud, Nvidia's whole new line up is simply improved existing cores, but they did bring more performance per our dollars than the 600 series did, compare the price of a 680 and 770 on release. But the biggest help for us end users comes from AMD on their relabeling and brand new core in the 290. Perhaps by Christmas when all is said and done for a little bit in graphics pricing we can get much more performance per dollar than we could get last year at this time.

Again just thinking out loud here.....
