Hi all.

Just went through an RMA and got a video card that requires a 6 pin and 8 pin connector.

My PSU has a few female 4-pin IDE connectors (also referred to as Molex or LP4) and two 6-pin PCI-e connectors left.

Please what adapter / connector combination would I need to power the gfx card?

Thanks. I'll look into it. Will I be feeding enough power to the card even with one 6pin going into the 8 pin slot (through adapter)?

Good point, sorry to drip feed the necessary info...

It's an older Seasonic psu (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151043) 500 Watts powering an also-ran by today's standards GTX 280 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130367).
