Limited access error

Hey guys just curious, Having a bit of an issue with my wifi. It didn't do this with my last router but i moved and switched internet and now every so often(Very frequently) It just goes into limited access.. I disconnect and reconnect and it fixes it. I know its an Xfinity router but thats all i know about it. Its my roommates router so not really sure what type. I know when its connected its 5 bars of coverage. the router is located directly to the room next to me.. Not far at all.. Not sure why its doing this.

Any ideas?

Try changing the wireless channel on the router. Higher channel is generally better for coverage and/or signal strength, but you also have to keep away from the channel that's most used in your neighborhood. Many routers attempt to do this automatically (Channel selection is set to 'Auto') but often does not work too well. Better to set it to a channel manually so it doesn't keep hopping around trying to find what it thinks is the "best" one.

I've set mine to stay on Ch13 and it's fine like that, coverage all round the house.

That seemed to have calmed it.. For now. Well havent had it do it in 2 hours at least.. I didnt have a channel 13 so i went with channel 11 But its working. Thank you ^_^
