It's not really good for gaming. Do you have a budget in mind? What are the specs of your computer and what is your monitor's resolution?

It should have no problem running farmville on Ultra.

Back to topic, it should be able to play some games at min settings at tiny resolutions
If you really need a cheap card to get by, the 6570,6670, and the new r7 240 and 250 are all better than the 5450

pc secs
450W PSU,
GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P AMD 760 AM3+ Motherboard,
AMD FX-4100 3.60 GHz Quad Core AM3+ Unlocked CPU, Kingston HyperX Red 4GB Memory Module,
monitor screen resolution 1366x768.

Hmm, if your resolution is going to be 1366x768, then I would either go with the AMD HD 6670 or AMD r7 250.

I can't believe I forgot about this card, too! The HD 7770 is also another option and is the highest I would recommend for that resolution. You really don't need anything more powerful.

I know you said your budget is $300, but you're going to be spending between $65 and $110 for any one of the cards that have been recommended so far.
