Mb: asus P5B;
Cpu: intel core 2 duo E8500 @3.16 Ghz;
Ram: 4 gb ddr2 (332.8 Mhz);
Gpu: nvidia geforce 9800gt 1gb ddr3;

Hdd: seagate 320 gb SATA;

I want to add that i have played the bf4 beta at 20-30 fps and bf3 at 30-40 fps.

As you know, all the hardware in that system is old and dated. You could make a couple or changes and improve your fps somewhat, however, you'd still have an old PC. So I guess it really depends on what you're after and what your budget is.

Thanks for anwsering, im playing at 1024*768 with everything on low (only mesh quality high on some maps), as a buget i can't spend more than 200-250 euro. I was thinking in upgrading my video card first but i'm afraid that the cpu will bottleneck it. A friend recommended me to do the upgrade progressively, video card first than the PSU, than MB+CPU+RAM ( now i don't know if i could use my HDD with a new MB). So i don't know what to do, upgrade now or wait till i'll have enough money to buy a new pc (which won't be very soon). What do you think?

Well a 7770 could be a fairly cheap upgrade option and technically performs twice as fast as the 9800 (the 9800 is in league with the 6670 and the 7770 smokes that card, but not sure about prices there), you could definitely wait and save towards an entirely new PC, the 9800 GT is still a fairly decent performer :D

the CPU.. change that, get a core i5 or i7. the one I have core i7 2600k @ 3.4Ghz is about $250 I belive and its a pretty good upgrade that's not too pricey, make sure your mobo supports LGA 1155 though. I'm not sure as for GPU you gotta give us a price-range

Thanks for the recommandation, i do not have enough money to do a full upgrade at the moment, i am thinking about buying a new video card(gtx650ti or gtx660) first but i'm still debating if its worth it.

Buying a new GPU will do you no good without upgrading that CPU, that thing is gonna bottle neck you to hell if you upgrade to a 660,650 or anything relatively equal. My suggestion, save up $500-700 and upgrade both the GPU and CPU at the same time

That was exactly what i was afraid, cpu bottlenecking the gpu. A friend suggested to wait until black friday and maybe i will find the components that i want at a discount. I'm thinking about a gtx 660+i5 2550k(or better), 8 gb ram, it should be enough for bf4 since i cant go past 1366*768. If i do this would the new MB fit in my pc case? and can i use my old HDD(seagate 320gb sata) and PSU (500w ATX)?
