Windows 8.1 boots into lock screen and cant use keyboard or mouse

Did the update last night and everything was fine. Chose the option to boot straight into desktop. Booted PC up this morning and im in the lock screen. Neither Keyboard or mouse is working for me.

I had the same issue last night, but it was all usb devices not just 3.0. I did a fresh install and it has worked fine since. It is a huge pain though. I wish I had a ps2 mouse and keyboard!
