What is IB Updater Service and how to get rid of it?

Hello,
Does anyone know what IB Updater Service is and why did it suddenly show on my browser (i use Mozilla Firefox)? What does it do? And how can I remove it? It seems rather fishy to me.. Is it a virus or something like that? Thanks!

You were right, it really was related to IncrediBar (I haven't heard of it, though, just read about it a few hours ago).It turned out that it is not really a virus, but it's still something that I better not have in my PC. I googled IB Updater service and i found an article that has a removal guide, that i followed, but it also said that it isn't enough, so yeah, I downloaded adwcleaner (another person recommended it) and malwarebytes (i didn't have any antivirus protection at the moment)
And so i did a scan with it also and the second one says that everything is fine, i hope it really is.

You got a good eye, but it it fishy, like you said. I just got a Real-time Protector notice pop-up with Program Files (x86) SEARCHPROTECT Misleading.FakeAVe on the 1st line and line 2 & 3 have C;\ProgramData\IBUpdaterService, which are all related to the same thing. This Protector is from Advanced System Care paid version, and it will remove it for me. If you cannot afford a malware and virus remove and detect tool, just open the folder in "Programs" folders and delete those 3 lines that should be in the folder. DO NOT OPEN THEM they could take over the machine or do some bad things.Careful not to delete any Microsoft or Apple files. I hope you have it fixed by now, it's like 16 months ago since... BTW - what do you get when you mix pancake batter with Molgen David concord wine? ur name, and a stomach ache. purple grape wine and pancakes? like, eeeeeuuuuuuwwwwww man!
