Hello guys, I have an intel pentium Dual Core E2140 Laying in another unused pc, But i'm not so sure that whether it's compatible with my motherboard on this pc...

Here are my motherbard's specs:

H-I41-uATX(Eton/EtonL)

Manufacturer: Foxconn
Form factor: microATX - 24.4 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.4 cm (9.6 inches)
Chipset: Intel G41 Express
Memory sockets: 2 x DDR3
Front side bus speeds: 1333/1066/800 MHz
Processor socket: 775
Expansion Slots:
1 PCI Express x16 slot for graphics card
2 PCI Express x1 slots
1 PCI slot
1 PCI Express x1 minicard slot

Also It has A Intel Celeron Processor 450, and i'm not entirely sure if the Dual Core E2140 would show higher performance that the Celeron 450. Any Help Given is Appreciated !

E2140 is a socket 775 processor so it should work.

For a single task the 450 will probably perform better. The 2140 performs about like a 420 on single tasks. For multitasking the 2140 MAY perform better.
