hello. Ive rtecently bought a pc mainly for gaming, but im having the same problem in everygame i play.

I can play games like Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider almost maxed out with 60+ fps @1366x768.

But everytime i turn my camera or walk too fast (like driving in far cry for example) i notice some fps drops from 60 to 45-50.

The drops occur randomly and only last for like half a second, but it really annoys me.
It still happens if i lower the graphic settings.

My Rig is:

AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz (4.0ghz turbo)
MSI Radeon HD 7850 2gb OC
8gb ddr3 1600mhz
500gb HDD
450W PSU
ASrock 970 pro3 R2.0.

What could the problem be?
Could it be lack of power coming from the psu?

I cant really tell if my cpu is bottlenecking, my gpu runs at 80%+ load, but when i OC'd my CPU to 4.5ghz, i noticed no difference whatsoever. Only instance i can remember is when playing tomb raider, where at some parts my gpu load drops to 50% and my frames drop drastically aswell.

Bottleneck is when something hits 100% while other parts don't. That's weird that the load would drop to 50%, that's causing the fps drop because it's not performing up to what it should.
Do you have all the latest drivers?
What HDD do you have? (looking for bottleneck)

If you didn't have enough PSU power, ur pc would just turn off, so it's not that.

I think it just happens,

Thank you for your reply.

Im using a Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200RPM 16MB SATA III 3.5 HDD and a XFX PRO450W V2 Core Edition.

And i believe my display driver is the latest, im currently using catalyst 13.9 drivers.

EDIT: I just notice my AMD south bridge, chipset and RAID drivers are outdated. I have no idea what those are for, but could they be the problem?
