I've recently had my new computer built and it consists of 2 Radeon HD7970 GPU's that are connected together. However, I don't feel like they are working properly..

I've posted about a similar problem on here before, my specs are:
AMD FX 8350 eight core @ 4.00GHz
16 GB RAM 1600MHz
two Radeon HD7970 GPU's
120 GB SSD
1 TB hard drive

When I am playing some games, i'm genuinely struggling to get 60 fps. For example, Far Cry 3. When I try and max that out I get between 30 and 40 fps (mostly the lower part). However, I've seen videos on Youtube where people with only one of my GPU's can max it out on ultra and get a locked 55 - 60fps.
I have to play it in Medium settings just to get 55 - 60 and even there it sometimes drops to around 45 during intense parts.

I've made sure all of the drivers are installed and up-to-date and I've had a look in "system properties" and there doesn't appear to be any issues with my GPU's.

I was just wondering if somebody could help me and suggest something that I could try? Because it just doesn't feel like they are working to their full potential. Thanks!

Oh and just to add, I was going to purchase BF3 AND 4 but I don't want to waste my money on them if i'm only going to have the same issue..

If you go into ccc is "crossfirex support" checked? I am rocking xfx 7970's in crossfire and I am getting very high fps. Have you benchmarked with any software?

Downloaded cap profiles?

Driver version?

Cheers, I'll try that.
I just had a look in ccc and "crossfirex support" wasn't checked so I'm assmung that meant that I was only running one card at once? I've now checked it and I've also overclocked my GPU's slightly to see if that helps.

what is your score in unigine heaven?

I get about a 840 single card, I get in 1500+ with 2. I was able to max out setting with a single card for the bf4 beta just fine. When I got the second it was even better!

what is your power supple? It could be failing to pull enough power.

get cpu-z and take screenshots of the tabs.
