As the title implies, I'm planning to buy the parts around Black Friday for a hopeful price drops on some components. I'm planning on using this for some gaming (probably be going into some popular FPS games like Bioshock) and lots of movie/video streaming. I may also use this for numbercrunching analysis in the future as well.

I've already put together a build, but it's still a little over my price range. I'm looking for ~$1000 USD for the core components. I'll need an OS and peripherals (which I included Windows 8 and a IPS monitor) but I have a separate budget for that (100 OS, ~200 monitor)

If there's any way to reduce the cost while keeping quality/performance, I'd highly appreciate any suggestions!

A few questions/concerns:
1. Any other IPS monitor suggestions? Ultimately I'd like a dual setup, but I only have budget for one. It seems like the Dell one I listed is the best IPS for its price bracket?
2. I've read some comparisons between Asrock Extreme 4 mobo and Asus mobo. I have the Extreme 4 included, but if someone could give me a simple answer as to if I made the right/wrong choice, I'd like to know!
2.1 I opted for an Intel CPU since this is intended to be more gaming oriented. If I went AMD, I'd likely choose the FX8350. Just for completeness, which mobo would be best paired with the FX 8350?
3. Will everything fit into the Fractal Design case? I like the design of the case.
4. Is the PSU wattage high enough to accommodate my build? Also, I assume the Corsair brand is trusthworthy, but are there better/reliable PSU's I should consider?
5. Will I need to consider getting a wireless card/sound card? More worried about a wireless adapter card since I'll primarily be using wifi.

PSU is enough... wont be if you ever add a second GPU though.

you could save about $100 if you went with an FX8320 (commonly on sale for $125) and ASUS m5a99fx (commonly $110 after rebate/promo on newegg) and that'd offer you the same performance, perhaps more in BF4 and games that use all the cores
