How to ground cabinet?

How do I ground my Cooler Master HAF XB cabinet? I'm using the Corsair 760i PSU and Gigabyte Z87X-OC motherboard.

Also, the SSD In this cabinet will be touching the metal cabinet with it's metal surface (I think, haven't received it yet) is that something to change?

And last question, why is the PC usually grounded through the motherboard? (24 pin main power connector has a grounding pin( I believe) and then static electricity goes to case --> Mobo --> PSU --> Power socket ground)

Any help is greatly appreceated!

Solution
The PC is usually grounded through the PSU: if you open a PSU, the IEC socket's ground is either screwed directly to the PSU's case or on one of the PCB's mounting screws. Your case gets grounded to the PSU by the PSU's mounting screws. 0V from the PSU and motherboard are usually also connected to ground through mounting screws when using brass or other metal stand-offs.

Pretty much all PC parts are designed with the assumption that their metallic mounting components will be connected to case ground through mounting screws.

Thanks for the quick and detailed response!

My PSU won't be touching the metal of the cabinet a whole lot, since the PSU has it's own stand which has foam pads on it...

Do you think i should take a short Copper wire to connect the PSU case and cabinet, just to be sure?

The bottom "pad" is just a gasket to make the PSU draw air through the case's bottom wall. The PSU is still screwed into its rear bracket and that bracket is still screwed to the case itself so there already is more than enough grounding to make the case static-safe even without additional alternate ground paths through components and PSU leads..
