Hi,

Im thinking of getting either 2 GTX 650TiB (SLI them) OR getting 1 GTX 770.

Which options do you guys think would be more efficient? Can the SLI GTX 650 tiBoost outperform the GTX770?

**Its also cheaper to buy two GTX650 instead of 1 GTX770**

Thanks

I agree with Ksham, way better to have a single stronger GPU than SLI. More efficient and definitely more stability with drivers and compatibility with programs. Getting a single higher performance GPU now rather than 2 weaker ones gives you the ability to buy a second one later for SLI rather than needing new cards all together if you went with 2 weaker ones.

ahh didnt know the boost model supported sli.

but also it may run pretty well but it is still limited by a 192 bit bus which will hurt you running at higher settings vs the 770s 256 bit bus

the two 650tis will be about as fast as the 770 but i still would rather get the single better card and have the option to add another super card later on.

i remember my 550tis sli i had, things ran great and i got them both for about 150 bucks haha. took a while to get everything fine tuned, adjusting the control panel etc as well as overclocking them to the max to get my games to run nice and smooth

In your case if it were i would go gtx 770 then go sli when the new gpus come out which even 1 770 is enough for 1080p and would hold for a while and give good quality performance at quality settings
