  8. sorry computer just frozen and posted loads sorry
  9. Yep, get rid of it, it doesn't sound like a good PC.
  10. where should I seek to buy all the stuff for my new pc from??? and what about the hard drive and cd/dvd rom reader
  11. ebay shops are my personal favourite.

you could use your current hard drive.

and you may not need a cd rom, windows 7 can be installed from USB.
  12. how would I get a usb with windows on it and I have herd that the fx(bulldozer) are not very good, would amd a10 be a better option???
  13. and where can I get gtx 650 ti boost for £100

That and from what i can find out about you're case (?) it's a micro atx case and will fit that mobo/ram/cpu combo,.From what i could see the motherboard now is a m-atx with sata connectors which means you probably are able to reuse the dvd/cd player.

So to further upgrade you could use the next which are the best i could find with your budget,
    http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx430
    http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-01gp43655kr
or seeing that games might make more use of Vram,
    http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx650tibdc2oc2gd5boost
I don't know where you live, and i don't really need to,so if the pcpartpicker prices work for you i don't know.
  15. what type of hard drive will I need

Like he already said you could use your curent hdd.
  17. if you want to keep the data on it, you will have to use Sysprep for windows.

    Ebay ?

The best AMD processors are, in order :

    the 8350
    the 8320

    the 6350
    the 6300

    Avoid all the Bulldozer range.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulldozer_%28microarchitecture%29

But maybe you should wait until AMD release the new Steamroller CPUs before buying anything.
  19. and are you sure that 500w will be the right mount??? and could I play games like fallout newvegas on mid settings as well a rome total war 2 and mount and blade war band??? and thanks a lot guys!!!
  20. this is my first build so is they any vids to help me out when building it??? :D I may e able to build it with out tho
  21. I think you could do with less then 500watt,i think the following psu would do fine,
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ALYP208/?tag=pcp0f-21
For a gtx 650 ti boost i found a cheaper one too,it has a better cooler=more quiet then the other one,
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-650-ti-boost-tfrozr-iii-oc-28nm-pcie-30-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1033mhz-cores-768
with the money saved you could buy a better case like the next one,
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XIGMATEK-Asgard-PRO-Chassis-PC-Case-Mid-Tower-ATX-Black-SuperSpeed-USB-3-0-/360770603904?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopComponents_RL&hash=item53ff9a8b80
your total amount spend would be the same.
What you choose is up to you,if you think that cheap case just looks better by all means take that one,but i think the other one just is a better quality case.

  22. Maybe go with a gtx 660 if the prices drop.
  23. Maybe save some money on the gpu, get an older generation gtx 480.

    this is a helpful guide

  24. not worth the risk using cheap Power supplies.
  25. what about cpu cooler ?

also, you could just get an 8320, it's cheaper.

Or wait until AMD release the new CPUs
  26. I am going to use my old cpu coolr
  27. thanks
  28. I will be ordering the parts on 10th of jan
  29. Your old cooler may not be compatible.
  30. yes that's a good point what cooler should I go for... i want to keep the cpu cool and everythingso what cpu cooler do you think would work???
  31. hyper 212.
