I recently upgraded my cpu to an i5 4670k (Haswell) in combination with a Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 and Kingston HyperX Genesis 2x4gb.
When i power on my system, the cooler of my cpu starts to spin after 2 or 3 seconds from boot. At this spinning start I hear a very loud noise for a few seconds. Every other fan in my pc will start to spin immediately after boot. I have the stock Intel cooler.
This doesn't occur when i restart my pc.

I read somewhere this situation, as I describe, is normal.

Is that true?

Thanks in advance.
