Hi so i've been having constant display driver issues from hell, and i just recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU because of this problem, and also because it was long over due. After the upgrade it fine for a little bit, but still keep crashing and either the screen would go completely black an the dvi cable wouldn't be readable or blue screen an restart. Now i was was running x2 5770s and i thought maybe there was a crossfire issue, so i took one o the cards out. i was able to now play games, but then it started crashing an the screen would randomly go black an the DVI cable wouldn't register, also when i would turn on the computer it would take several restart to get it to detect the dvi cable was even there. Now before you ask, the other ports on my card(asus 5770) dont work at all. HDMI, VGA are bad, an are not readable, im just really tired of trying to figure out this issue. im also a bit new here so and i was recommended to come here to try an help fix my issue

Also i am gonna be upgrading my 5770s to r9-290(x or none X depending on the price), but i also want to make sure all my tracks are covered

Don't...

Seeing that there was a blue screen error, and you need to restart several times for the system to boot up,I figure there's some hardware related problems, rather than some driver issues, like your title suggests.
If it's a blue screen error, you may need to check your RAM for problems. Also, the situation of having to restart several times for the system to boot up suggests that your PSU maybe weak to supply the necessary power on the first start.Or it could be that your HDD is faulty. You need to troubleshoot and come up with more information, should you have any.
