performance vs Standard HDD

Ok i don't know what the difference is between standard hard drives n performance, they both have 7200 RPM

so how can one have better performance when its not 10000 RPM

The only real difference is the reliability. As you can see, the WD black has a 5 year warranty, while the blue has a 2 year. The WD black also has a slightly better processor/cashing system. It wont improve the speeds noticeably, but it will make it more reliable.

Yes, you could just set it up just like a hard drive. The only difference is that the SSD is much smaller. You will either need to buy an adapter, or just set it in there, use some Velcro or double sided tape, etc.

If you're up for spending $20 more and getting a 120Gb drive that's a ton faster, id recommend this:
