gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 and AMD fx6300 bios overclock settings

Hello,

I'm new to overclocking. Does anyone have an AMD FX6300 3.5ghz cpu and a Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 ver5.0 mobo? I would like to know what the BIOS settings should be to get to 4.1ghz. If it matters my RAM is Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x4 8GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800. 1.5V and CAS latency 9. Thank you.

Excellent, why you don't start to overclock it yourself?

Go to the BIOS and disable this options: C1E, Cool'n'quite, Turbo Core, Spread Spectrum.

After that, just start to rise the CPU multiplier in little steps, 2 or 3 as max and test for stability with prime95 or Lin-X. Find out the max stable overclock with the stock voltage and after that we move on to rise the voltage to get a higher overclock.

I have a CoolerMaster 101a with Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste and two fans attached in a push pull configuration.
